Welcome To The Chase House Inn
250+ Years Of Warm Welcome...
The Chase House Inn is the birthplace and childhood home of Salmon P. Chase, who was Abraham Lincoln's Secretary of the Treasury, and later, Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court. It is located about 8 miles north of Claremont on New Hampshire Route 12A. The 2 1⁄2-story wood frame house was built c. 1790. Today it is a luxurious country inn where guests come to stay and get away from the busyness of life. With its warm charm and country rooms set in the heart of the Upper Valley, the Chase House is a home away from home.
