Edward Bates Room

The Edward Bates room was named after Edward Bates who served with President Lincoln as the Attorney General of the United States.

This cozy charming room can accommodate 2 guests. It is equipped with a Queen bed, sitting chair, dresser and a private bathroom.

The Chase House Inn is both a National and State of NH historic landmark and birthplace of Salmon Portland Chase who served as President Lincoln’s Secretary of the Treasury and later appointed as the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
